Jay LaSuer joined us on Get Your Justice Live to discuss his candidacy for San Diego Sheriff. This race is starting to heat up with national scrutiny coming down on top of the current Sheriff, Bill Gore, for his deployment of military grade sonic weaponry (LRAD ~ Long Range Acoustical Device) at county town hall meetings. Sheriff candidate Jay LaSuer indicated that use of such weaponry is downright an abuse of power and that he would be getting rid of the device(s) once he is in office. So I have to agree with his slogan “For a Safer Tomorrow” because I certainly wouldn’t want to be in a crowd where such weaponry could be used at a flip of switch and that results in possible eruption of the inner ear, aneurysms, and other potentially fatal outcomes.
Jay LaSuer is one of four candidates currently running in the San Diego County Sheriff’s Race. He was questioned on issues ranging from federal programs, parental rights, illegal immigration, 2nd Amendment positions, using jails as “hotel” beds for federal prisoners, and more. He firmly believes in his oath of office and carries a wealth of political and real-word experience that the other candidates don’t seem to have at first glance. He is also backed by Joe Arpaio (“America’s Sheriff”), Sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona which has gained him supporters/contributors from other states which is typically unheard of in local races.
